Coach Matt

Growing up in Medicine Hat, I played volleyball and basketball throughout high school, and physical activity has always been an essential part of my life. After moving to Camrose to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology at Augustana, I began to truly understand the science of fitness and its impact on both body and mind.

 

My fitness journey really started after high school sports ended, and I turned to the gym as a way to maintain my strength and fitness. Not only did I feel physically stronger, but I also noticed a boost in my mental confidence. Staying active now keeps me energized and allows me to keep enjoying the sports I love, like volleyball, golfing, and skiing.

 

I began personal training in 2019, drawn by the rewarding nature of helping others transform their lives through fitness. Watching clients progress toward their goals has only deepened my passion for this industry. Over the past six years, I’ve gained experience working with a range of clients — from general population looking to improve their health, to athletes working on performance, and those managing injuries or pain. My goal is to guide you with accountability, support, and motivation. Let’s get started on your journey to build a healthier, more confident you.
